She is presently employed as marketing director for a software company specialized in quality assurance for the life sciences industry. As a child, she was rarely sick and did not suffer from allergies. However, for the last seven years, she has suffered from severe gastric problems and from major allergies to dust, animals and pollen. In 2007, being unable to cope with the symptoms, she decided to consult an allergy specialist. The specialist prescribed a nasal spray that was useless. She consulted another doctor who prescribed antihistamines. The medication transformed her life. She takes one pill a day and has done so for the past three years in additional to a new nasal spray for the last year. She is now able to control her allergies.
